The Corn Exchange
Completed in 1864 the building and reputedly based on the Coliseum in Rome, the exchange designed by Cuthbert Broderick was used as a market for the buying and selling of corn. Today the Corn Exchange houses a fine selection of independent boutiques and award-winning brasserie Anthony's Piazza. Recently restored, the building embraces original features such as ornate staircases, ironwork detail and a spectacular glass roof.
