Leeds Carnival
The Leeds West Indian Carnival is the oldest in England. Taking place on August Bank Holiday each year, it is a mass of colour and noise, featuring a lively mix of dancing, exuberant costumes, horns, whistles and live music as the parade makes its way through the Chapeltown area of the city.
