Leeds Carnival
The Leeds West Indian Carnival is the oldest event of it's kind in Europe. Taking place on August Bank Holiday each year, thousands of revellers descend on Potternewton Park to enjoy the festivals' lively mix of dancing, exuberant costumes, horns, whistles and live music which celebrate West Indian culture and cuisine.
